Villa Escudero Tour - April 16, 2011

Our company had it's yearly summer outing last Saturday at Villa Escudero. The villa is located in Tiaong, Quezon a 2.5 - 3 hour drive from Manila.

Though it's only a day tour trip we had a lot of activities and fun.

A photo with John, yours truly, Paula and Michael upon arrival at the Villa. Welcome drinks we're served for the guests as refreshment.

The Villa Escudero Museum. This museum has it's large collection of Oriental ceramics, natural history and ethnographic dioramas, costumes, household furniture, weaponry and many other items of interest collected in their travels around the world.(from villa escudero site)

E-jeep and Carabao with kariton are the means of transportation in the villa. Here's a shot when we rode "Sexy" the name of the carabao with kariton.

A mouth watering lunch buffet at the Water falls.

Our next stop is at the pool. The villas has three swimming pools. 5 ft and 4 ft deep pools for adults and a kiddie swimming pool for Children. The 5 feet swimming pool has it's jacuzzi that will relax your tiring muscles from swimming.

We also had kayaking in the 30 ft. river. Too bad we are not able to take pictures. But still we have fun. BTW their kayaks are made of bamboo. Locally known as "balsa".

Birdwatching, Philippine experience show,Sports and Outdoor activities, etc.. are the other fun you can have at the villa. Since it's a day tour we don't have enough time to try all of these.

But still we had a lot fun of in our almost 7 hours stay at the villa.
Credits to Sir Joel and John for the pictures..
